Front Range Sports Network, home to 102.3 and 105.5 ESPN is looking for a radio Sales Assistant to support our National Sales Manager and advertising sales team. This is a clerical position that demands exceptional attention to detail and great organization skills. The Sales Assistant will help with order input, traffic, commercial copy, preparation of presentations, and day to day office assistance. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Job Duties (include but are not limited to)
§ Adding/changing copy instructions and rotations from local, national, and barter clients in Marketron.
§ Point person between sales and programming for production needs including copy proofs, ie: proper spot length with copy; acting as liaison between AE's/clients and Production staff. ie: script/voice requirements, music beds, etc.; filling out production orders and communicating with production staff and; advising AE's of any missing copy in a timely and advance fashion.
§ Sending Spot Times Report to AE's at the end of the day.
§ Submitting all affidavits in a timely and accurate manner.
§ Input/Revise/ Maintain national orders and direct client orders with strong attention to detail & accuracy in Marketron
§ Download national orders from retrieval site (orders & client/agency/billing reports)
§ Maintain National Pending Biz Report: ongoing, add detailed buy specs & update win/loss/buy info
§ Maintain function & knowledge of Arbitron software to pull Arbitron research reports as needed: including, but not limited to rankers, trenders, schedules, various research
§ Create sales & research pieces as needed including research, copywriting, and design utilizing Powerpoint, Word, and Excel
§ Maintain/update CRM system (Customer Relationship Management for posting stations one sheets & info)
§ Miscellaneous Sales Department duties: answer phones, overnight/mail proposal creation, expense reports, backup for AE’s if needed w/Marketron order entry/copy/PO’s, occasional proposal creation, and flexibility & adaptability to change task or focus quickly and accurately.

Producer Internship Description:
Looking to get involved in sports broadcasting? Work for the best… CJ and Les or The Locker Room. ESPN Denver studio interns will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assisting with live, local sports programming weekdays 12pm-6pm and some weekends, flexible scheduling is available. Interns must be timely and responsible and will ideally have strong knowledge of sports, specifically Denver sports teams. Basic computer skills and experience working with Cool Edit/Adobe Audition preferred. ESPN Denver Producer Internships are unpaid but are available for college credit.
